What a beautiful and meaningful experience it was to help plan the Melin Chapel Dedication at Bethany Bethany Home - Sioux Falls & Brandon!

It was such an honor to be part of bringing this special day together as we celebrated the legacy of Rev. Paul and Esther Melin and their lasting impact on the Bethany family. Their faith, service, and love for others continue to inspire us.

Thank you to Monte's Woodshop and JD's House of Trophies for helping bring the memorial plaques to life. Working together to create pieces that will remain at the chapel as lasting tributes was truly meaningful. The plaques beautifully capture the spirit of Rev. Paul and Esther Melin and the legacy they leave behind.

I am incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make the dedication such a memorable and heartfelt occasion. A place of faith, built by generosity, and made meaningful through the lives of those who have served Bethany Home - Sioux Falls & Brandon

On Sunday, August 30, 2026, we celebrated a very special addition to the Bethany family - the dedication of the Melin Chapel.

This beautiful space was dedicated in loving memory of Rev. Paul and Esther Melin, whose lives were marked by
faith, service, love, and a deep commitment to the residents and community of Bethany. Rev. Paul faithfully provided pastoral ministry to Bethany residents, while Esther lovingly supported his ministry and assisted with worship services. Together, their dedication helped shape Bethany into a place where faith, care, and community come together.

The Melin Chapel will serve as a special place of worship, peace, reflection, and spiritual renewal for residents, families, staff, and all who enter.

We are deeply grateful to everyone whose generosity and support made this meaningful space possible. May the Melin Chapel continue the legacy of Rev. Paul and Esther Melin for generations to come.

At Bethany, we remain committed to our mission to create a caring experience for the mind, body, and spirit - and the Melin Chapel will be a beautiful part of that experience.

Together, we celebrate a legacy of faith. Together, we make Bethany home.
