Whitfield took a vehicle from her residence this morning and is possibly driving around the Twin Cities metro area. The vehicle she is driving is a 2018 black Chevrolet Equinox with Minnesota license plate . Whitfield’s last known location was in the area of Eden Prairie, Minnesota.

▪️FROM: Louisville, Kentucky
▪️DATE LAST SEEN: Tuesday, August 13, 2019
▪️DETAILS: is a Caucasian female. She is 5’7” tall, 180 lbs., with brown hair, and hazel eyes. Knabel’s ears are pierced and she may have scarring on her face. She was last seen about 1:38am on August 13, 2019 wearing a tank top, shorts, and light-colored Nike shoes in the 4000 block of Fincastle Road in Louisville, KY.

Knabel is a single mother of two children. She has a marketing degree from the University of Louisville. She is a volunteer for Missing in America, an organization that searches for missing children and adults.

At the time of her disappearance, Knabel was experiencing hard times in her personal life. She was unemployed, due to recently being laid off. And her car had been totaled after a hit and run incident. Knabel’s family was very concerned about her mental health and encouraged her to see a counselor, which upset her.

There has been no activity on her financial accounts. Knabel’s family and friends say it’s very unlike her to go without contacting them and that she’d never abandon her children.

➡️ The latest data tells us that South Dakota has 70 missing Indigenous persons, and a bill making its way through the South Dakota state legislature calls for help in finding them.

House Bill 1199 passed through the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday, and it is set to be read on the Senate floor on Monday, March 8.

Please pray this bill passes for our Indigenous sisters and brothers. 🙏🏻❤️

Thoughts and prayers for the family of the individual who was located. 🙏🏻❤️

The South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation has sent a team to investigate after a body was found near a creek in the south central part of the state.
