Supporting Grievers Workshop

Even with the best of intentions, most people struggle to find the right words or deeds to support those they're close to who are grieving a loss. Feeling uncomfortable, or fearing they'll make the person feel worse, they simply do nothing - which adds a sense of abandonment to the grief and leaves the griever struggling even more. This workshop will help people be more comfortable and better able to support the grievers they care about.

This 1-hour workshop will: Create an understanding of what grief is and how it manifests. - Provide a sense of what grievers are experiencing and what is generally helpful. - Inform as to what to say and what to avoid, and suggest actions that are truly helpful.

Reserve your spot today & join us for these meaningful conversations.

With Care,

MADD Upper Midwest Victim Services Team

People grieving the death of a loved one often find it difficult to discuss what they're experiencing with people who don't "get it" - and most people don't. Being a safe space to share thoughts, feelings, and experiences can be very helpful. Even hearing from others about their experiences can be validating or informative, supporting the healing process.

Reserve your spot today & join us for these meaningful conversations.

Best friends don’t let best friends make dangerous decisions ☀️🐾

Whether your summer sidekick has two legs or four, the rule stays the same: look out for each other. Beach days, lake days, concerts, late nights - make a safe plan to get home before the fun starts.

Real friends make sure everyone gets home safe 💛
