Isaiah 56:1-2 TPT
"Blessed is the one who will faithfully keep his commitment. Yes, blessed is the one who honors the Sabbath and does not disregard it, and the one who keeps their hands from doing evil."

Do we have a Sabbath, a day of rest when we focus on God and not just on us doing whatever we want? Whether it's Sunday or some other day of the week, do we commit to a consistent date with Godand enjoy his presence?

(God says: ) “For my thoughts about mercy are not like your thoughts, and my ways are different from yours. As high as the heavens are above the earth, so my ways and my thoughts are higher than yours.......So also will be the word that I speak; it does not return to me unfulfilled. As believers, as we ask the Holy Spirit within us to continue helping and encouraging us to become more and more like Jesus, we will grow in these virtues.
Colossians 3:12-14 TPT

Be merciful as you endeavor to understand others, and be compassionate, showing kindness toward all. Be gentle and humble, unoffendable in your patience with others. God wants an personal relationship with you. He wants you to know Him. If you will believe in Him, He will redeem you (save, pull you out of the pit, pay for) because he created you, loves you, wants to bring you honor. He will not necessarily eliminate all problems but he will be there WITH you.

Best advice ever!! When we're talking with God throughout the day, keeping our thoughts on the positive amazing things God's doing everyday in our lives, we have peace.
