Hi friends! We are hoping you can find your way to joining us for a fun and easy meet up on Sunday, September 13 to climb at Dells of The Big Sioux!

Fall climbing on quartzite is the best climbing on quartzite. And the season hopefully will start changing for the cooler. 😎

This one is in the books! 🧗🏕️

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, and/or vibed with us this weekend at the Blue Mounds Camp & Climb.

Over 25 people joined us across 2 days to climb, camp, and build community, including families and new friends who traveled over 4.5 hours to be part of this special weekend.

We’re just getting started. Keep an eye out for news about our next event, coming to a local crag near you!

Climbing on Prairie Wall Saturday and Kanaranzi Buttress on Sunday.

Campsite is not available until after 4pm per MN DNR.

Get excited! GPCC has planned your next camp and climb getaway! And it will only take a short drive to get there!

Join us Saturday August 22-23rd for a combined climb and camp experience. His family, friendly event is available for climbers with all kinds of outdoor climbing and camping experience levels.

If you have climbed at Dells of the Big Sioux and wanted to step up to a larger challenge, this is a great introduction to climbing on top rope anchored rock.

We will host a 50 person campsite at Blue Mounds Staycation and put on Saturday night dinner and Sunday morning breakfast for our campers.

Your GPCC board leveled up and learned a whole bunch from our friend Jeff Johnson of Sylvan Rocks Climbing Guides at the end of June.

Jeff guided an intensive top-rope anchor course that taught gear recognition, fundamental knot tying, and theory.

If you are wanting to take your climbing g to the next level and learn how to place your own gear more confidently, hire an experienced guide. Better yet, support local and reach out to Sylvan Rocks Climbing Guides for more info.

Did you know that there are bolted routes at the Dells Overlook?

Earlier this month, GPCC organized an event at the Dells of the Big Sioux.

We had some first time outside climbers at Community Cove and some multi pitch practice at the overlook.

As the weather continues to ramp up so will our organizational events in July and August.
