To Feed the Hungry, To Clothe the Poor, To Shelter the Homeless, To Lead Them to Christ

We need your help, Siouxland. đź’™

The Gospel Mission has officially run out of bottled water, and with the hot weather we are seeing an increase in the need for bottled water.

Each bottle we give provides refreshment, dignity, and a reminder that someone cares. From those waiting in line for a meal to the individuals receiving hygiene kits—this small item makes a big impact.

If you feel led, donations can be dropped off at 500 Bluff St in Sioux City, IA.

Thank you for being the hands and feet of Jesus in our community. We couldn’t do this without you. 🙏

🧴 A Small Need That Makes a Big Difference

At The Gospel Mission, it’s often the simplest items that help restore dignity and bring comfort to those we serve. Right now, we are in need of men’s razors and foot powder—everyday essentials that help someone feel clean, cared for, and seen. ❤️

These small gifts allow us to care for the whole person—body and soul—as we share the love of Jesus Christ.

If you’re able to give, we invite you to partner with us in this important need.
👉 Drop off donations at 500 Bluff St, Sioux City, IA
⏰ Monday - Saturday - 8 AM - 7 PM

Thank you for helping us bring hope, dignity, and Christ-centered care to our community. 🙏

🎙️ New TGM Aware Podcast Episode – Now Available! 🎙️

In Episode 6 of the TGM Aware Podcast, host Nate Gates sits down with faculty and students from Morningside University Nursing & Health Sciences to talk about their meaningful partnership with The Gospel Mission and how hands on, community-based learning is shaping the next generation of nurses.

This encouraging conversation highlights how time spent at The Gospel Mission helps nursing students gain a deeper understanding of community health needs, vulnerable populations, and the realities of homelessness, hunger, and poverty—while witnessing Christ centered care in action.

Today we had the privilege of hosting 25 individuals for our first Lunch and Learn. These individuals were from a variety of local organizations and non-profits, such as Dismas Charities, Siouxland Community Action, Iowa Primary Care Network, Lutheran Services of Iowa, and Center for Siouxland (to name a few!).

We had the opportunity to share a meal and information about the Mission, and to hear what services they have to offer our guests. The Mission loves to collaborate with local organizations that have a similar goal of helping people leave their homeless situation. Several people went on a tour of our campus, including the Women and Children Shelter, and Mission Thrift Store.

Thanks to everyone who attended. We plan to hold another Lunch & Learn session on Friday, May 29. Registration details coming soon.
