Congratulations to four Siouxland Youth Chorus singers selected for the 2026 Opus Honor Choir Festival! 🎶

• Brantly
• Anna
• Elena
• Amelia

More than 3,000 students were nominated for just 720 spots in four honor choirs. Singers were chosen through recorded auditions... an accomplishment worth celebrating!

The 40th annual festival concert is November 19 at 4 p.m. at Stephens Auditorium in Ames.

We are proud of these students for their hard work and dedication!

Thank you to SYC director Dr. Shirley Luebke for helping our young singers grow and share their talents. 💜 🎼👏

🇺🇸🤝🇯🇵 Building friendships through music! 🎶

The Siouxland Youth Chorus was honored to perform for middle school students and dignitaries from Yamanashi City, Japan—Sioux City's sister city—during a special reception and cultural exchange at City Hall. Our singers joined Mayor Bob Scott and community leaders in celebrating a partnership that has connected the two communities for more than 20 years. ❤️

Experiences like this are just one of the many reasons it's exciting to be part of the Siouxland Youth Chorus!

🎤 Ready to make new friends, grow as a singer, and be part of something special? Join the Siouxland Youth Chorus—we would love to have you!
