We are so overwhelmed with joy over how the Chalk the Town for Mental Health event turned out today! 💚✨

Our town truly showed up and chalked for awareness! 🖍️🧠 41 businesses in Le Mars participated, helping us meet—and honestly exceed—our overall goal of breaking the stigma and raising awareness around mental health. 🙌

This was more than we ever imagined, and our hearts are so full. 💛 Thank you, Le Mars, for showing up for this cause and for one another. Community matters, and today proved that. 💪🤝

📸 We’ve posted photos of the positive messages and mental health slogans created by our amazing local businesses—be sure to check them out and share the love!

Share yours in the comments if we missed any!

The Siouxland behavioral health community has lost someone who dedicated many years to caring for others.

Dr. Dean’s compassion, professionalism, and commitment to mental health services touched many lives throughout our region. He will be remembered not only for the care he provided, but for the lasting impact he had on clients, colleagues, and the community as a whole.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and all who knew him.

We are saddened to share the passing of Dr. Dean. More details and arrangements will be shared as they become available. Please keep his family, friends, and all who knew him in your thoughts during this difficult time.

The words we choose matter. A compassionate conversation can help someone feel seen, supported, and more willing to reach out for help.

During Mental Health Awareness Month, we encourage everyone to lead with kindness, listen without judgment, and create space for honest conversations about mental health. Sometimes simply being there for someone can make all the difference.

At Rosecrance Jackson Centers, we are committed to providing compassionate support, hope, and care for individuals and families throughout our community. If you or someone you know is struggling, help is available.
