General information
Please join us for lunch anytime! The Engineers Club meets every Wednesday noon at the Golden Corral in the Lakeport Commons. We learn a great deal about our local Community, new ventures, new techniques, and even new organizations from our weekly programs. The Club has 12 members on the Executive Board and each finds programs for one month of the year. This way we get a variety of subjects covered. LADIES EVENT The Ladies Event involves dinner and possibly entertainment with the spouses of our members held in early spring. Some of our recent Ladies events have involved: Hole in the Wall Lodge – Tour and dinner at the Lodge Orpheum Theater – Movie the Great Gatsby and dinner at the Theater Sioux City Police Department Bag Piper’s performance with dinner at Beano and Sherry’s Casino ANNUAL PICNIC The Engineers Club holds an Annual Picnic in August to supplement our Scholarship Program. This scholarship is open to Siouxland area High School graduates for the current year that are enrolled in an engineering curriculum. Attendance at the picnic is open to all of its members and their guests. As an incentive to attend, we hold several contests, raffle drawings and a door prize drawing along with a catered meal.
