“FLASHING GUNS” Rare Tommy Bolin acoustic.

There's another version of this song “Poker Chips” on an Archives CD - both are really good, similar and yet different enough. We called this “Flashing Guns” as was written on our tapes. We had fun with the video lol...

Tommy's vocal/voice really suits this song – often very underrated we think👍

Details are rather scant re this guitar - but he definitely had it/played it during his James Gang era 1974 (as seen above).
We would appreciate anyone who has any information re this guitar👍

JIMMY HASLIP on Tommy Bolin's funeral... from the STAN & THE FAN PODCAST Episode 5

(From Stan Sheldon 14th October 2026)
“Streaming on most podcast platforms, YouTube, Spotify, Apple, etc….many of our first guests, myself included, discuss rock history, backstage stories.

As Tommy was my best friend (from Energy days) in Boulder Colorado, and also my most important musical partner (Teaser). Check it out…. Many of the first episodes involve guest stars related to Tommy’s short but prolific career journey. Cheers! SS”
