JOIN THE REGIMENT

FIRST IN. Regiment is for teens who don't want to be snowflakes but want something more. This is not your ordinary youth group. This is the extreme version. We do all that “youth group stuff,” but we also help you go beyond the status quo. We meet every Wednesday, 6:30–8 PM at the Connect Building (1603 Glen Ellen Rd, 1 mile east of Siouxland Christian School; turn right off Hig

hway 20).

OUR CREED

I am a new kind of post-millennial. I have inherited the end of 1000 years of other people's successes and messes, and I will kick-start the next 1,000 years with my own choices and actions. I am also a real Christian. I am on a mission to see transformed lives by promoting the gospel of truth to my generation. I am determined to build the Church and see God's presence fill it. I am here to serve the Body of Christ and do the work of the ministry. I am establishing God's dominion as a shining city set on a hill. I am not here to merely win a culture war. I am here to win the culture. I am part of a regiment. I will serve where others will not. I will pray while others sleep. I will turn to God when others turn to sin. I will finish strong when others quit. I will make disciples while others seek applause. I will stand and show courage where others falter and fear. I am first in all in.

“Who am I becoming?” Your identity isn’t just received, it’s cultivated.

In Matthew 13, the parable of the sower shows that the issue isn’t the seed (God’s Word), but the condition of the soil (heart) it falls on.

What kind of soil are you becoming?
Hard soil (a hardened heart),
rocky soil (a shallow heart),
thorny soil (a heart entangled in wrong thinking),
or good soil (a receptive, cultivated heart ready for the Word)?
