27,500 meals will be provided to families, children, and seniors in need thanks to Bike Sux!

On June 6, 2026, Bike SUX marked its 16th community ride event with over 250 riders in attendance. This year's ride benefited the Food Bank, helping us alleviate food insecurity for our neighbors across our community. Thank you to everyone who participated in this year's event, and thank you to the Bike SUX team for helping us provide meals to people in need in Siouxland.🧡

Join us in sending a huge thank you to Second Step Foundation and I-State Truck Center for their incredible donation for neighbors in need across Siouxland!

For the past 6 years, the Second Step Foundation and I-State Truck Center have been steadfast supporters of those in need in our community, packing BackPack sacks in the fall and spring semesters to help feed children over the weekend. Their donation last week will provide 🥫50,000🥫 meals for seniors, families, and children in need across our community. Thank you, Second Step Foundation and I-State Trucking, for your dedication to those facing food insecurity in Siouxland🧡

Another 2,000 BackPack sacks were packed this week thanks to the efforts of four incredible volunteer groups!

Thank you to the Morningside University School of Business Accounting Club with King, Reinsch, Prosser & Co., LLP, Vectra International, First Presbyterian Church of South Sioux City, NE, and the University of Iowa Family Medicine for dedicating your time this week to helping children in our community.
