Congratulations to Brett McInnis on his commitment to Southeastern CC (IA). We have followed Brett’s career since he was 7 years old playing with the Stars. He has worked extremely hard as a two way standout at LeMars and recently touched 90mph with his fastball. His 96 strikeouts as a junior on the mound was 2nd in the state at 3A. He has a high baseball IQ and is a well rounded individual with strong character.

We look forward to seeing his development in college and where his careers takes him. We are proud of all the work he has put in over the years and his commitment to 712 Baseball! Congratulations Brett!!

Congratulations to Joe Nilles on his commitment to Wartburg College. Joe has worked extremely hard over the past couple years to earn his scholarship to Wartburg. The Sioux North senior hit .320 with a team lead with 34 RBI this past season. He also tied the school record with 19 2b’s as a junior.

Best of luck to Joe as he finishes his senior year at North and heads on to Wartburg. We are proud of his work and commitment to 712 Baseball!!

Today on National Coaches Day, we want to thank all of our 712 Baseball coaches for the time, energy, and passion they pour into our players.

Coaching is about much more than baseball. It's about teaching accountability, resilience, teamwork, leadership, and how to handle both success and adversity. The lessons learned on the field help shape young people for life beyond the game.

Thank you to our coaches for making a difference in the lives of our athletes every day. We appreciate all you do!!

Everyone wants to play games. The players and teams that dedicate more time to practice and training in the offseason and during the season are the ones that reap the benefits.

And there’s a useful irony here: one of the premier college programs is preparing its players to compete by spending more days training than competing, while youth baseball can often become the opposite—far more competition than development time.
