First of all, thank you very much to everyone who donated, sponsored, or supported this event last year. Considering the time frame that this event was organized in, we feel that it was a huge success. Steven Bankey and the Flatlanders were amazing, and it was great to have them. The Marquee was a great host, and we are very lucky to have them here in Sioux City. Support Siouxland Soldiers provides an incredible service to our Siouxland veterans, and we were glad that we that we could contribute to their cause.
With all of that said, we are pairing with Support Siouxland Soldiers again this year for another event. The Marquee will again be hosting us. Returning will be Steven Bankey and the Flatlanders as I do not believe I am alone in saying that they were even better than advertised. We have also added to the lineup this year and have Sioux City rockers, Above the Covers. We are still working hard on this event with a lot more details to come. Stay tuned, as with this event being on a Friday on Veteran's Day, this event is sure to be a busy one.
