Sioux Center Food Club SCFC promotes healthy living and stewardly use of resources. It is an informal group of people who order food and other items from wholesalers.

Buying club members buy through, not from, SCFC. The Sioux Center Food Club (SCFC) is an informal, voluntary association of people who order food and other items together from wholesalers and local producers for their own use. Members buy through the buying club, not from it. The buying club "buys for", not "sells to" its members. Members share the work and expenses involved. The Sioux Center Food

Club does not accumulate surpluses beyond what is needed to cover expenses. There is a one-time sign-up fee of $20. Members of the Sioux Center Food Club enjoy access to suppliers of a wide variety of food items as well as ecologically safe cleaning supplies, health and beauty aids, vitamins and nutritional supplements. We support local food producers and encourage the purchase of less processed brands and organically raised food items. Orders are delivered in bulk every eight weeks on a Friday. Members share the responsibility of splitting, sorting, and repackaging the bulk order into the individual member orders.
