RFWF Charity Golf

RFWF Charity Golf Yearly golf scramble to help raise money for a local cause or charity. Hence, the name Right Field Wrong Fairway was born.

In the beginning, four guys thought it would be cool to play golf and go to the Phillies home opener. Soon after, the demand was so great, for logistical reasons it was decided to start a tournament and concentrate on golf. The first year there was a $47 surplus and it was agreed to give this away. It wasn’t much, but the RFWF Charity was created. Since then, a yearly local beneficiary has been se

lected. While small in comparison to today’s events, the kindhearted intentions were always big. Little did those four guys know what was ahead. For the 25th anniversary event in 2018, RFWF Charity Golf was able to revisit that original beneficiary and donate $3,000. In recent years, we've been very fortunate to have sold out very quickly. We are always grateful for the enormous generosity of our golfers, sponsors and donors. Without their support and sense of community, none of this would be possible. Each year a new beneficiary is identified. We look for that special someone who faces adversities many of us would think unfair in life. We tend to find someone who stands up to those challenges head-on with a great attitude. In every case, our beneficiaries have displayed overwhelming positive energy, enthusiasm and accomplishment. They often display their incredible strength for us first-hand by joining our special day of fun and laughter for all. This year is bound to be a special year too. Be sure to register early to be a part of RFWF 32 and to help support another worthy cause. Finally, please help us spread the word to local businesses who might be able to help us with a sponsorship. Sponsorship can be an absolute game-changer towards an even bigger donation.

RFWF Charity Golf sends our condolences to the Derr family and the West Lawn Beverage team.

You are in our thoughts and prayers.

West Lawn Beverage friends & family: This is the hardest news to share. Tommy “Boogie” Derr has passed away after his tragic accident Tuesday. We are in shock, disbelief, and utterly crushed.
We will share more commemorative highlights about his legacy and post details about a “Toast to Tommy” in the coming days. For now, we ask for your patience as we work to navigate life without our OG, GOAT, Pops, Pappy, TD.
