Join us on a brand new weeknight, Friday June 5, 6-9pm, for The Museum After Dark: Metamorphosis Night Out! Enjoy a relaxed and engaging evening with tasty food and drink options as you explore our galleries without the usual daytime crowds. Take part in hands-on activities designed for adults, special programs and lectures, and soak in the creative atmosphere.

This event is for adults only, and ticket prices are as follows:
Pre Register: $20 for college students w/ID, $25 for adults
At The Door: $25 for college students w/ID, $30 for adults

After a year’s hiatus, Arboretum Movie Nights at The Reading Public Museum are back by popular demand! The first movie in our 2026 series is “Shaun the Sheep Movie.” What happens when our small sheep friend takes a day off from his farm? Big city hijinks and a rescue mission with the whole flock are in store. Come early to save your seat! If the weather does not cooperate, we will move inside to The Museum’s Auditorium.
While this event is free, concessions will be sold. Any additional donations will help us to continue these types of free community programs.
This movie is Rated PG.

It's time again for another great book sale by the Friends group. Join us Feb. 20 (10-3pm) &21 (9-2pm) for some great finds in books, CD's, DVD's, puzzles, and vintage records. We have had many great donations (Thank you community!) and are loaded to the gills! We, also, have some really great collectible books which are specially priced for all you book collectors. Its been a cold and snowy winter so come grab some great reads and movies....you never know when your cable will go out! SNOW DATE IS THE FOLLOWING WEEKEND. **Cash or check only.**

The Friends of the Sinking Spring Library would like to thank the following local businesses for their generous contributions of gift cards to our Christmas Basket Raffle: New York Bagelry, Julianna's restaurant, Lowes, Mama's Pizza, Beverly Hills Tavern, Tony's Nails, Lords & Ladies, the Pretzel Factory, Paolo's restaurant, Olive Garden, the Railroad House, and Adelphia Seafood. Also, a thank you to Mrs. Georgie Jones who donated her own hand quilted Christmas runners. Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets and made the raffle a success, we appreciate you all.
