In addition to our summer program, holiday parties, volunteers visits, guest readers, and proudly hosting Moylan field day, we are excited to share that this year, Horizons at Westminster will be providing additional tutoring afterschool twice a week throughout the school year at Moylan 📚💛 we are thrilled that our partnership is continuing to grow every year — we can’t wait to get started!

This summer, our middle school students were mentored by UConn School of Medicine faculty who volunteered twice a week to teach our students about the different available careers across medicine and to provide hands-on learning experiences.

Thank you Dr. Kwame Amankwah for organizing this STEM career path initiative and for the many colleagues at UConn Health who generously gave their time, expertise, and enthusiasm to engage our students!
