In celebration of the Town’s 350th Birthday, the Simsbury Public Library and Senior Center are co-sponsoring Teen & Older Adult Interviews recorded in the SCTV studio. This video is a compilation of videos produced in honor of Simsbury’s 350th anniversary. Students from Henry James middle school, under the direction of the Simsbury Public Library Teen Librarian, interviewed long-time residents about their lives in Simsbury over many decades. Watching these interviews is like watching a time capsule come to life.

*Please note the location change from the Library to Eno Memorial Hall in the Youth Room.

Well it is a wrap! Thank you to all of you who attended one of the many 350th events, sponsored the events, volunteered your time or purchased merchandise. Tune into the Board of Selectmen meeting tonight at 6 pm for a dedication to the 350th!

The events looked different than originally planned but we managed to create new events that the community could enjoy from Fireworks to movie nights to park dedications.

Thank you also to staff members who worked tirelessly and supported the efforts.....Tom Tyburski, Lisa Karim and Sarah Nielsen!

Thank you from the 350th committee!
