In keeping with the mission of Celebrate Upstate Veterans (CUV) to support our military, police, fire and other first responder groups in our area, CUV recently made donations to the Simpsonville Police Department (SPD)and the Simpsonville Fire Department ( SFD). Sgt.Karlee Patrikis received a check on behalf of the SPD for $250 in support of Simpsonville National Night Out .
And Deputy Fire Marshall John Dawson of the Simpsonville Fire Department received a $500 donation in support of the South Carolina Firefighters Burned Children's Fund.
Janice Curtis, CUV co-founder and owner of Merle Norman of Simpsonville also made a donation of $250 to the SPD to help with expenses for Simpsonville National Night Out. And Ms.Curtis’s Merle Norman company also matched the CUV donation to the South Carolina Firefighters Burned Children’s Fund with an additional $500.
CUV appreciates and celebrates all those who serve.
