What is the JD Joyful Ornament Foundation?

How did we develop this ministry? -- This foundation was birthed through a clear vision from God, in which He united a group of women together to carry out His plan to show love. Through His plan we are able to be His hands and feet in making provisions for women in pain and also receive blessings from them as we go out with joyful hearts.We are ministry of prayer and share the good news of Jesus Christ with our recipients and our volunteers.

What do we do? --We desire to use the gifts and talents God has given us to make a difference in the lives of women battling cancer through hand painted Christmas ornaments. We also host the Accelerating Car Show and silent auction all to raise awareness and funds for women battling cancer. Joyful is able to offer an ARRAY of services to our recipients through the sale of our ornaments and funds raised.

Who can volunteer? -- If you want to volunteer, we will FIND the area that best suits your spiritual gifts and talents! If you don’t paint: IT’S OK! There are SO many ways to volunteer. This is not just a church specific ministry, we have many ladies (and one brother) representing all ages and walks of life who volunteer!

Who are our recipients? -- Any woman, any cancer. Not all recipients need all our services: some need prayer, some need financial support, some need meals, some need laundry done or their house cleaned, some need companionship. We want to meet their needs.
