Tanner's Hope

Tanner's Hope Hope never gives up - neither do we.
Thank you for visiting our page and reading our story. Love from Tanner's Hope!

Here's our story:
Bobby Tanner lived his life in the upstate of South Carolina. He was a cowboy - a rancher with the most beautiful hayfields. He was diagnosed with Glioblastoma, a Grade 4 brain tumor in May 2019. After a valiant fight for a year, he lost his battle. He was the head of our family, who loved horses, history, God and his family. So many people feel this loss still today - his famil

y, friends, neighbors, and countless members of the team roping community. Our logo is comprised of two of Bobby's hobbies - the steer for team roping, a talent he shared with his wife and daughter Denise, and arrows for the archery hobby he shared with his daughter Melissa.

King’s College Hospital.

Not exactly a place anyone puts on a London bucket list, yet for Braelyn and me, it may end up being one of the most important destinations in the city.

Most visitors come to London to see palaces, cathedrals, castles, and Crown Jewels. We came here for treatment at this hospital under Prof. Ashkan and his team, including Dr. Mehra and Dr. Prasad. While that is the reason for our journey, we are incredibly grateful that it has brought us to one of the world’s most famous and historic cities, allowing us to experience its remarkable sights, stories, and history along the way.

This past weekend, we walked through nearly a thousand years of British history at Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, and the Tower of London. Today we walked into a place where the future is being written. One preserves treasures from the past; the other is working to create more time for families like ours.

King’s College Hospital may not be as famous as Tower Bridge or Westminster Abbey, but for us, it represents something even more valuable:

Hope.

And after everything Braelyn has endured over the last three years, hope is a destination worth traveling 4,000 miles to find. ❤️🇬🇧🇺🇸

Go Gray in May may be ending, but the reality of a brain tumor diagnosis doesn't end when the calendar turns to June.

**Auction is open until 8 pm - just a couple clock ticks away**

We are incredibly thankful for every share, every donation, every bid, and every person who helped raise awareness this month. Because of you, more families know they are not facing this journey alone.

But the fight remains the same year-round. Tanner's Hope will continue supporting families, advocating for research, and honoring those we've lost while walking alongside those still in the battle.

Today, as we close out Go Gray in May, we also remember the man who inspired so much of this work.

Happy Birthday, Daddy. We love you, we miss you, and we will keep fighting in your honor. 💙

Next up: Field of Flags & FarmK on June 27!
