What We Believe
We believe the Bible is the revealed word of God, inerrant in its original autographs, infallible, and is the authoritative and all-sufficient rule for faith and conduct. We believe God is one and has revealed Himself in three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, worked many miracles, died for our sins, was raised physically from the dead, ascended and was exalted to the right hand of The Father where He makes intercession for us. We believe in the Holy Spirit who endows believers in Jesus Christ with eternal life, prepares them through Spiritual gifts and manifestations for service to the Church and world, bears witness to the authenticity of the Word of God and empowers believers to be witnesses for Christ to all peoples. We believe man was created in the image and likeness of God, was endowed with intelligence, conscience and free will, and by voluntary transgression fell, thereby incurring not only physical but also spiritual death, which is separation from God. We believe man's only hope, male and female, for eternal salvation is through faith alone in the risen Lord, Jesus Christ. We believe the universal true church is the body of Christ in the world, past and present, Christ being it's head and Savior, embodying all who by faith receive and profess Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. We believe that the greatest commandments for successful and joyful living are to love God with all we are and have and to love others as we love ourselves. We believe Jesus Christ will return bodily and visibly to Earth.
