Wag n Walk Simi Valley Annual Wag ‘n Walk charity dog walk event helps raise funds to cover the growing costs of dog food and medical expenses for ARV. Next event Sept 2020. Date TBD

Registration is FREE, and participants are encouraged to raise funds. This annual 3 mile charity dog walk benefits Animal Rescue Volunteers of Simi Valley, CA to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home abandoned and abused animals into loving forever homes. The event takes place September 29, 2012 at Rancho Simi Community Park, at the amphitheater. Walkers check at 7:00AM. Open ceremony starts at 8:00AM. Walk starts at 8:30AM. After the walk relax, visit our vendors, participate in our raffles, silent auctions, and view our adoptable pets. The event ends approximately at noon.

ARV President's Message
Hello ARV Supporters and Volunteers,
It has been a long and trying time for all of us due to Covid. We have all had to adjust our lives in one way or another. We hope you and your family have not been affected. The rescue world has been challenging and has forced us to adapt to this new way of life. It has been difficult since we have not had our major fundraiser, Wag ‘n Walk, for two years thus far, and this year would not be any better.
With a heavy heart, we have decided to no longer be an active rescue. However, we still have a few dogs available for adoption and will continue to find them their forever home. We have several unadoptable dogs with high medical expenses due to medical conditions. Therefore, we will not be taking in any new dogs into our group as we need to reserve our funds for our current dogs.
We have been around since 1994, so this was not an easy decision. We have had so many people help us in many ways, and we can’t thank you enough. We are very grateful for your support of our animals.
