Silverton Grange #748 The vision of the Silverton to Grange is to be a community of neighbors. Education

Got a class or workshop you want to lead?

The Silverton Grange supports promoting local sustainable foods, developing resilient community, assisting agricultural enterprises, aiding those in need, and preserving the Silverton Grange hall as a resource for the community. We support education to better all people—children and adults and to ensure a strong community. We've hosted educational events such as canning classes, garden instruction

and others as the need

Providing a local gathering place

The Grange hall is available and used for many kinds of events, including classes, receptions, and meetings. Sustainable agriculture

The Silverton Grange is committed to supporting local, sustainable farmers and businesses. We host a weekly Community Market, Seedy Saturday and other educational events through the year. In September 2006 we hosted the first 100-Mile Breakfast, an event featuring food from within 100 miles of Silverton. We plan to revive the tradition in 2024! Local food supports our local economy, helping ensure that family farms stay part of our community. Participatory democracy

The Grange provides a unique way to get involved in state and national politics through our resolution process and the format of our meetings.
