We had a great Memorial Day observance. Silverton Fire Department presented the colors, Jimmy Burson and Barry Francis did a great job on the songs, Lynn Frizzell presented Dotty Powers a bouquet for being a Gold Star Mother, Colonel Michael Keller gave a wonderful presentation. Afterwards we had a nice fellowship over some hot dogs and cookies.
We want to thank everyone for coming out and for all the help putting out flags on veterans graves, making the meal, and cleaning up afterwards A special thank you to Jeff Smith for having the cemetery looking good and always keeping it looking good.
