Volunteers Needed for Taste of Silverton!

Saturday, June 20th from 5-10:30 pm

Help is still needed to staff several Stations and to act as Ambassadors for the event. Please contact Councilman Don Kincaid at 513-592-8771 or email at [email protected] if you would like to help.

The event will take place along the business district on Plainfield Rd., near the public parking lots close to Italianette Pizza and across from MVP Sports Bar area.

The Train Station & Museum is open on Sunday!

Join us tomorrow, June 14th from 2-5 pm at the Silverton Train Station & Museum! Stop by to view the contents of the museum and meet your fellow neighbors. We will also be grilling out, so grab a bite to eat as well. Consider making a free-will offering to help cover costs of the food & for making future improvements to the Museum.

Thank you to all that attended & participated in last night's Silverton Block Watch Meeting! Special thanks to our Guest Speaker - Polly Giblin, of The Mess Mender - www.themessmender.com for her informative presentation on why people hoard items in their home and the potential hazards.

The Taste of Silverton is coming up on June 20th from 5-10:30 pm! Let us know if you would like to volunteer during this event, you will get a free Taste of Silverton T-shirt!

We will also be selling our Silverton Train Station and Museum T-shirts at the Taste of Silverton at the Silverton Block Watch booth! The proceeds help to make needed improvements to the facility.

TODAY:

There will be hotdogs and hamburgers available at the Train Station between 2-5pm. A free will offering (donation) is appreciated for needed repairs & updates. We also have Silverton Train Station T-shirts for sale as well to raise funds. Stop by to meet friends and neighbors!

REMINDER:

We will be open once again at the Silverton Train Station & Museum! Join us this Sunday the 24th from 2-5pm! Stop by to view the contents of the Museum and meet some of your neighbors & friends!

We will also be selling our Silverton Train Station & Museum T-shirts for $15 each (cash only please at this time). They are available in either blue shirt with white logo, or white shirt with blue logo. The proceeds go to help fund needed updates and repairs to the Train Station.

Our monthly Block Watch Meeting took place last night. Thank you to all that attended and participated in the meeting! We had reports from Mayor Smith, Lt. Robin Reid, and Block Watch members reporting about upcoming events. The meeting concluded with a Split-the-Pot-Raffle and door prizes!

There are many events coming up in Silverton in the next few months, so stay tuned! If anyone would like to volunteer, please let us know. Thank you!
