THIS SATURDAY!🐴Come out to SVHC for a free informational clinic hosted by CSU Equine Sciences🩺💚 We will go over basic horse first aid, horse behavior, disaster preparedness, nutrition, and more! If you are a horse owner, someone who works with horses or caretakers properties with horses, this clinic is for you! Head to the link below to sign up! Meet Terra🪭, Dave♠️, and Holly Ella🎱, our newest intakes from Troublesome Creek Horse Rescue💚
Terra, a 20 year old registered Andalusian mare, was picked up from the Centennial Livestock Auction. Terra was used primarily as a broodmare, but could be green broke under saddle. She is very friendly and super gorgeous, and we can’t wait to get to know her more!🪭✨
Dave is a 9 year old Percheron cross gelding that used to be a part of a pack string. He developed osselets in his hind legs, but is sound for light riding. He loves people and is very gentle. We will continue to evaluate him under saddle, and will keep everyone updated on his progress♠️🐴
Holly Ella is 15 year old Tennessee Walking Horse picked up from the Centennial Livestock Auction. She was used as a lesson horse, but requires a more confident rider. We are excited to get to know her, and keep you all updated on her progress!🎱💚
We are so excited to have these three amazing horses, we are looking forward to working with them all summer!🐴💚

Hey you!💚 Clementine would love to let you know that our first New Member Orientation of 2026 is happening THIS SATURDAY! May 23rd!💚🐴 From 10 am to 2 pm. If you became a SVHC member over the winter, just joined, or are interested in becoming a member in the future, this event is for you! We give you an extensive tour of the ranch, go into detail about our various programs and volunteer opportunities, you get to meet the team and other volunteers, and much more! Head to the link below to sign up. Can’t make it this Saturday? No worries! We will be hosting New Member Orientations most Saturdays through the rest of May, June, and July. Check the program calendar on our website to find more dates!
Just a reminder, in order to sign up for Beginner Horsemanship classes, it is required that all new members attend a New Member Orientation. See you all this summer!

Meet Clementine🍊and Espi🕊️, our 2 newest fostered rescue horses💚🐴 From , Clementine and Espi are both 2 year old BLM mustangs from New Mexico. Before they were picked up by Wild Hearts Haven, these girls were on their way to long term holding, due to having maxed out on strikes. This means that they were passed on for adoption the maximum amount of time the BLM allows. These girls were unhandled, but Wild Hearts Haven has already made amazing progress to get them halter broke, lunging, exposed to obstacles, and even trimmed by the farrier! We are SO excited to continue working with them and watching them grow💚🐴
