It’s that time of year, the Summit County Parade of Homes is almost here!🏘️💚🏔️ Summit Valley Horse Center has an exciting chance to participate in the Parade of Homes while spreading the word about our organization and what we do, and we need YOUR help!🫵💚 You’ll be stationed in a new build condo in Frisco, telling visitors all about SVHC, ReSaddled Thrift Store, and everything we do!
We need help September 19th and 20th, and September 26th and 27th, from around 10 to 5. No need to commit to a full day, just help for a few hours when you can!👏

Meet our newest fostered rescue intakes, Granite🩶 and Tacoma🤍 from Wild Hearts Haven ! These 2 big, handsome grey BLM mustang geldings are looking for their new forevers and next adventures! And who doesn’t love their subtle flea-bitten markings!😍🐴
Granite🩶, originally from Nevada, is in his mid teens, eager to please, and loves having a job. He has been excelling at his groundwork and work in the roundpen, enjoys being groomed, and picks up his feet with ease. While he has been saddled, we aren’t certain of his riding history. We will keep you all updated as he continues to progress!💚
Tacoma🤍, also in his mid teens, hails originally from Wyoming. Tacoma had some great training with Barry McAleenan. He has been ridden, but it’s been a while, so he is being refreshed on everything groundwork, desensitizing, and fitness, until he is ready to continue with his training under saddle. Big and reliable, Tacoma is ready for some new beginnings💚

SVHC has 4 new full time employees!🐱💚 We are pleased to introduce you to our new barn kitties! Meet Mr. T, Freddie, Ozzy, and Stevie✨👏 These cuties free roam around the barn and property, hard at work keeping the critters at bay. We are so excited to have them!

Meet Dave, one of our amazing adoptable horses at SVHC!💚🐴 From Troublesome Creek Horse Rescue, Dave is a tall, dark and handsome gelding looking for his new forever. He is in his mid teens, and has some osselets in his hind legs, meaning he is sound for light riding in soft footing only. He was a part of a pack string in his past life, but is looking for an easier path. Oh, and he’s great with kids! Come meet Dave at Summit Valley Horse Center this summer!🐴✨💚

We are SO excited to introduce you to the newest addition to the SVHC herd…minis!🖤🐴💚
Meet Auggie🖤 and Sundae🍨, SVHC’s newest program ponies! Auggie is a gelding with the black head, and Sundae is a mare with the white stripe and cute pink nose💝 Auggie and Sundae came from an amazing family in Lyons, and we are so excited to introduce them to our programs. They’ve already mastered both of our obstacle courses, love being groomed by kids and adults alike, and are enjoying seeing all there is to see at SVHC💚 Thanks to some extremely generous donors, SVHC was able to purchase Auggie and Sundae, so they are official additions to our already amazing herd of ponies and horses. We love them so much already, and can’t wait for you all to meet them!💚🐴

Did you know that at the end of every rainbow, there are some beautiful rescue horses?💚🌈 from left to right, Clementine ( Wild Hearts Haven ) Holly Ella, Terra, and Amaris (Troublesome Creel Horse Rescue) are all adoptable and looking for their new forever✨. Clementine is a 2 year old BLM mustang looking to continue growing physically and mentally, and is willing and smart. Holly Ella would love to go to a more experienced handler, someone who can take her on trail rides and let her have some independence. Terra would make an amazing pasture companion after spending her life as a broodmare, and Amaris is a sporty little pony who loves to get to work. We couldn’t be more proud of our amazing Summit County kids at the Middle Park Fair🍀💚 They all worked incredibly hard all summer. And we can’t wait to see all that these amazing kids continue to accomplish🐴💚

Tomorrow, August 3rd, is the western day of the Middle Park Fair & Rodeo 4H Horse Show!🍀💚 We have some of our amazing Summit County kids going and showing, and we would love if you came out to show support!🐴 Come to the Kremmling fair grounds, and enjoy a beautiful day of fun filled horse show excitement!
