Breezy, our BLM mustang mare from Wild Hearts Haven , really enjoys sipping fresh mountain water straight from the river🥶💚❄️
A little over a year ago, beautiful Breezy slipped on ice in the field and fractured a bone in her hock. Over the last year we have worked with her on rehab, exercising, and working to help her heal. While Breezy still has a long way to go in her recovery, she has made AMAZING progress in the last year. She really enjoys walks around SVHC, going over obstacles and adventuring down to the river.
🌟If you’re interesting in supporting Breezy’s journey to healing, head to our website and check out our options for donations or sponsorship opportunities. Under the “Donate Today!” tab, head to “Donate to Breezy” 💚🐴

Head to our “Adoptable Horses” highlight on Instagram to see our amazing prospects, or check out some of our previous posts highlighting our different adoptable horses!🐴💚

Meet Terra, one of our beautiful adoptable rescue horses from Troublesome Creek Horse Rescue ❤️ Terra is a registered Andalusian in her early 20’s who, after spending the majority of her life as a broodmare, is ready for a new and relaxing forever👏💚 While some light riding may be in her future, we have been focusing a lot on her confidence and groundwork. We want to set her up for a successful and fun future, so we have been working with her on the ground to ensure any holes in her life of training are addressed and filled properly. She is friendly, gorgeous, and a great pasture mate🌟 Terra would make an amazing addition to any herd, loves to be groomed and is doing fantastic in her groundwork and confidence journey. Terra is ready for her new forever, is that you?🐴💚

Even though it’s over halfway through September, we want to share some thoughtful and sage advice from our Ranch Director, Lizzie🐴💚 We challenge you to think about tolerance versus acceptance in your horse interactions, and how it may contribute to different aspects in your horses training.
🌟”Acceptance is truly the idea and recognition that our ideas are also the horses ideas. Tolerance is our horses going through the motions because they are obedient, but not because the horse and human have the same thought.”
🌟“(Acceptance) plays into everything we do. Acceptance from the beginning equals acceptance down the road. Tolerance from the beginning equals trouble down the road.
💚”First we go with the horse, then the horse goes with us, then we go together.” -Ray Hunt

For more information on Clementine, please email [email protected], or reach out to Wild Hearts Haven directly!
Clementine is looking for a fresh start and a stable forever home. Is that you?💚🐴
