Love beautiful grass rugs? Us too! Our handwoven Tanzanian rugs are on sale now at Brodie’s Cream & Bean and 100% of the profits help us fund more water wells in Tanzania. These rugs were handwoven using grass found nearby the mud hut homes of each maker. We have multiple sizes in both round and oval and a few rectangle. Stop by and see. OPEN 2:00-8:30pm Monday-Saturday.

(These work great inside and on covered porches. They do not do well if they are put in a place that gets wet. Ask how we know. 😂)

We started drilling two days ago at a village called Dosidosi. The soil is difficult and the drilling rods and bit got stuck. They tried all day yesterday after church to get it out and were unsuccessful. They decided this morning to move that rig to our next location (which is where we are camping) and wait for a larger rig to arrive to get the Dosidosi project going again. We had been praying that God would bless last week’s unexpected donation and double it and we could get two wells for one! So this was sweet to hear that they were coming here to Engusero church immediately. This church has been immensely hospitable to us. They have been so gracious and shared everything they have and we have humbly accepted it all. Their current water supply (first photo) will run out in about 6 weeks forcing them to go elsewhere for water hours away.

After praying and seeking the Lord for clarification about where to drill on Engusero church property, our group felt that we were to move over about 50 feet to drill instead of the spot where the surveyors had said to drill. This was a “gamble” but nearly all of us were very confident we had heard the Lord. Even some of the children of our Tanzanian friends heard to “move and drill in faith.”

We started drilling around 1:30 around 4pm. We got to around 55 meters and HIT WATER!!! BIG WATER!!! We are drilling to 100 meters because there is so much water.

Now we are getting to do TWO WELLS for that donation!!! We are beyond excited!! This is INCREDIBLE! Enjoy the video!! Mungu ni mwema! God is good!!

"Mama Patti's Family" is getting to experience some of the beauty of Tanzania's National Parks today and tomorrow. We are so thankful for our dear friend and ministry partner, Daniel David who owns Nature Vibes Safaris, for taking this group on an adventure of a lifetime. It is such a special experience sharing this together. It is not often that siblings go on trips together as adults. What a joy watching both sets of brothers laugh and reminisce. (Read our previous posts to hear their incredible story!)
