YESSS!! Just a few more days to sign the petition to establish a Public Hospital District in Kitsap County!

Kitsap is speaking. Let’s make sure we’re heard.

We’ve now collected over 16,000 signatures across Kitsap County. That’s 16,000 neighbors saying the same thing:

Healthcare access matters.
Healthcare equity matters.
People matter.

Through the work of Alliance for Equitable Healthcare, we’ve been out in the community listening, not just talking. Hearing real stories. Real challenges. Real fears. And real hope.

This is not theoretical.
This is not political posturing.

This is about whether people in Kitsap can get care when they need it, afford it, and trust it will be there for them.

The Alliance was built by community members to push for affordable, comprehensive, and equitable healthcare access in Kitsap County . Right now, we are working toward a future where our community has real options, including the potential to bring a Public Hospital District to the ballot.

But grassroots work like this doesn’t happen without support.

The Kitsap Public Health Board discussed and unanimously approved a resolution on July 11 declaring high healthcare costs and insufficient access to healthcare services in Kitsap County public health crises.
