KCF's 2026 Grant Review team needs volunteers, about 15 hours between September and November, full training included. Already applying for a grant yourself? The 2026 Community Grant Cycle is officially open, and we’re also sharing upcoming learning opportunities, new funding resources, nonprofit job openings, volunteer needs, and plenty of tools to support your organization.

The 2026 Community Grant Cycle is officially open, and we want to make sure every nonprofit in Kitsap and North Mason County knows it! Thanks to the generosity of our donors, Kitsap Community Foundation is offering five funding opportunities this year: Community Impact Grants, KCAR, KREEF, the Women's Giving Circle, and Youth Mentoring, supporting nonprofits across the region. Last year, nearly 45,000 people in Kitsap County received food assistance, and demand kept climbing as households faced rising costs.

Food security is one of countless causes people choose to support in their will. Whether it's a food bank, a school, an animal shelter, or a cause close to your own life, a gift in your will doesn't need to be large to matter. Even 10% can make a lasting difference.
