Alaska Trip Highlights! 🏔️🇺🇸

What an unforgettable adventure! Our Cross the Divide Alaska trip brought together incredible veterans for days filled with breathtaking scenery, outdoor adventures, camaraderie, laughter, and memories that will last a lifetime.

These trips are about more than the destination—they give veterans an opportunity to reconnect, recharge, and experience the strength that comes from sharing the journey with others who understand.

“I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.”
—Psalm 121:1–2

Thank you to everyone who helped make this experience possible. Your support allows Cross the Divide to continue creating meaningful outdoor experiences for our nation’s veterans.

🎉 **Congratulations, Tyler!** 🇺🇸

A big congratulations to Tyler, a U.S. Navy veteran from Washington, on a successful hunt!

There’s nothing quite like putting in the work, making the shot count, and coming home with a story—and a freezer full of memories. Thank you, Tyler, for your service, and congratulations on a beautiful harvest!

Proud to have another veteran out there enjoying the outdoors and making memories.

Special thanks to the gear that helped make it happen:

Sometimes the best memories are made one trail at a time. 🦙

A parent-child llama adventure offered a chance to slow down, get outside, share some laughs, and simply enjoy time together.

At Cross the Divide, these moments are what it’s all about—creating opportunities for veterans and their families to reconnect through shared experiences in the outdoors.

A little fresh air. A little adventure. And time together that matters.

A huge thank you to Andy and his crew for representing Cross the Divide and helping share our mission of connecting veterans, and their families with God's creation through outdoor adventures and community.

Events like this remind us how powerful it is to come together, celebrate our heritage, and support those who have served.

Thank you to everyone who cheered us on along the parade route—we're grateful to be part of such an incredible community.

The journey is just as important as the destination.

Backpacking isn't about rushing to the next campsite. It's about slowing down, taking a breath, and finding strength in the people walking beside you.

Along the trail, conversations become deeper, distractions fade away, and lasting friendships are formed. For our veterans and active-duty service members, these shared miles often become opportunities to encourage one another, reflect on life's challenges, and experience the peace that can only be found in God's creation.

Every stop is a reminder that no one has to carry life's burdens alone.

Thank you to our volunteers, mentors, and supporters who help make these backcountry experiences possible. Together, we're building resilience, restoring hope, and strengthening a community of those who have served.

"Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." — Galatians 6:2

Every new day is an opportunity for a new beginning.

No matter where we've been or what we've carried, Christ offers something the world cannot—new life. Through His death and resurrection, we are not defined by our past, our failures, or our struggles. We are invited to walk forward with hope, purpose, and a renewed spirit.

At Cross the Divide, we've seen firsthand how time in God's creation, meaningful community, and faith can help people take those next steps toward healing. Every trail, every campfire, every conversation is a reminder that God is still at work, making all things new.

Today, take a step forward in faith and embrace the new life He has prepared for you.

"We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life."
— Romans 6:4
