Sunday Assembly Gainesville (SAGA) LAUNCHED in January 2016 on the Santa Fe Campus, 530 W. University Ave, Gainesville. SAGA is a chapter of Sunday Assembly- a secular movement that began in London in 2013 and that since has grown to over 60 Assemblies worldwide. Our motto: Live Better, Help Often, Wonder More. SAGA was accredited in April 2017. We celebrate life and togetherness, we enjoy musi

c, poetry and inspirational talks. We organize services and events to the community at large. Covid -19 has caused us to meet via Zoom for our Bookclub, our Brunch gathering, our Assembly and the monthly Planning Meeting.

🎨 Calling all local artists!

Alachua County is inviting local artists to submit original artwork for display in the county’s administration building in downtown Gainesville.

The Arts in the County Administration Building Program showcases local creative talent while enhancing public spaces within county government.

Artists working in a wide range of visual media (including painting, photography, sculpture, ceramics, digital art and mixed media) are encouraged to apply. Selected works may be displayed for approximately three months and may appear in county publications or televised County Commission meetings.

Interested parties must submit an application and agreement forms, which can be found under the "Art Loan" category on the website: tinyurl.com/4f57ubft.

Sunday Assembly Gainesville will celebrate 10 years. This is a secular ( not religious) humanist assembly that features music, inspiration, a guest speaker, potluck lunch, and fun fellowship on the third Sunday of every month.

If you plan on donating in person, please call ahead at 352-377-5690 to schedule a drop-off time.
