The Warm Fuzzy Project (SM)

The Warm Fuzzy Project (SM) Targeted donations of stuffed animals for children in transitional situations, i.e. in the hospital, Soon after, The Warm Fuzzy Project was born.

The Warm Fuzzy Project (SM) was created in 1998 by Jennifer Kline Vallina in San Francisco, California. After working in the not-for-profit world as a contracts administrator, she discovered that the children at the shelters, though they received a bed, sheets, etc., they were not given “something to hug onto.” (SM). Over 1,000 kids have been served in children’s hospitals, battered women’s shelte

rs, transitional homes and by the fire and police departments to name a few. The Warm Fuzzy Project also donated toys to the children of small town in New York where the majority of the firefighter fathers lost their lives during 9/11.
