It’s officially Pola-Czesky weekend!! Here’s out royalty that have been wonderfully representing our community for the past year, and our lovely candidates who are hoping to fill their shoes!

Come see them at coronation on Sunday at the Silver Lake Auditorium. Doors open to the public at 3:15pm and coronation will start at 3:30pm.

Come on out to Music in the Park tonight for royalty night!! 💃🎶 It’s going to be a beautiful evening tonight, why not spend it outside listening to some good music and eating some delicious food, all while supporting a great cause? The best part is, that means you don’t have to cook! 😄 While you’re there, make sure to check out our bake sale🧁, including those famous kolaches!! Don’t have time to stick around for the music, but still want to support the program (and not cook dinner tonight)? We got you covered! We have to-go boxes available upon request. All proceeds from tonight go to the Silver Lake Royalty Program! 👑

Are you a former ambassador with fond memories of your royalty program and looking to give back? Or maybe your child was a former ambassador and you saw how much this program impacted them, prepared them for the future, and changed them for the better? Or, maybe none of the above applies to you, but you just really want to be a part of something to change the lives of our future leaders and give back to your community. This is your perfect opportunity!! I myself was a former ambassador who thoroughly enjoyed this program and wanted to give back to it, so around 4 years ago I became one of our coordinators. It’s been so much fun having a part in shaping the future for the wonderful young ladies we’ve had as a part of our program, but due to life changes I can no longer dedicate the time I would like to be able to for this program. Please message our page if you have any interest. If you have questions about what all it entails, we would love to answer any questions for you!! And of course we won’t leave you high and dry, we will stay and help ease the transition 😊

So proud of Avril!!!⚓️💙

Avril Kosek proudly represents the community of Silver Lake. She currently attends Winona State University, where she will be a sophomore this fall, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Accounting with a minor in Finance.

Avril works as a lifeguard and swim instructor at the Bruce Maresh Aquatic Center, and she also works at Culver’s in her college town during the school year. In her free time, she enjoys reading, doing arts and crafts, and spending time with her younger sisters. She has a strong appreciation for creativity and enjoys trying new experiences.

Over the past several years, Avril has been actively involved in volunteering within her community. Some of her favorite experiences include helping with her community’s Easter Egg Hunt and distributing Valentine’s Day cards to residents at the local nursing home. She values the opportunity to connect with children and community members and build meaningful relationships.

Avril is most excited to meet other young women from communities across Minnesota during the “Best Days of Summer.” She is grateful for the opportunity and looks forward to representing Silver Lake as a candidate.

It’s officially parade season!! Ambassador Lizzy and candidate Dezzi had a wonderful time at the Hutchinson Water Carnival parade! They even got to show Lizzy’s Dad Stephen and Dezzi’s brother Maverick the ropes!

Ambassadors Lizzy and Amelia spent the afternoon volunteering at the Silver Lake Civic Association’s Easter Party. HOPpy Easter everyone!!🐣🐰
