Our Rider's President Kory Irish received Chautauqua County's EMS provider of the year award! We are so proud of your leadership and dedication with in Amvets as well as with in our community! Congratulations Kory and thank you for all you do!

Please join us in congratulating Kory Irish, Irving Fire Department’s 1st assistant Chief, on being honored as EMS provider of the Year!

Kory was recognized for his outstanding, life-saving response during a tragic hunting accident, where a man was shot in the leg. Without hesitation, Kory quickly applied a tourniquet, effectively controlling the bleeding and stabilizing the patient until further help arrived. His swift and decisive actions directly contributed to the victim’s survival.

This recognition reflects not just one heroic moment, but Kory’s unwavering dedication to the highest standards of emergency care. His calm under pressure, quick thinking, and commitment to his training are the very definition of excellence in EMS.

Way to go, Chief Irish. 🚑 👏

This past Memorial Day weekend our riders were out and about showing honor to our fallen. Some of us went to Washington DC for Rolling to Remember riding Gold star family members through DC. Those that stayed local covered a lot of ground attending Forestville, Cassidaga and Gowanda's parade and memorial service and our local Silver Creek VFW Memorial service, we also had Riders who road with Gowanda's American legion covering 70+miles. As well as attended a Bbq with 22Everyday and attended cheered on a baseball game for the team we help sponsor. We all hope you had a safe weekend!
