Hey All!! We have finished the path (mostly) to the dog park from the parking lot. NO MORE MUD! We had to use a pick to get the 4-5" of ice out of the mud hole so we could put in road base, (9 tons of it) and now it's all compacted and nice to walk on. ENJOY! We still have lots to do, but we're making progress as the weather allows. Don't forget to check out our new page with our name- Dundee Memorial Park.

Yesterday's efforts were fruitful, and we managed to get rid of all the ice (4"-5" thick in places!) is gone from in front of the entrance to the dog park. We're having road base delivered this morning and hope to have it all spread out by the end of the day. We'll be sore for a few days, but it's so worth it to have a nice path from the parking lot to the dog park! The inside of the park is dry, so come and enjoy!

Well, we're hoping the weather holds so we can do some work on the entrance to the park. SO much mud! If all goes as planned, we're hoping to get a load of road base on the path so people and dogs won't get soaked on the way in and out. Keep your fingers crossed! The snow has melted at the park and the entry is dry. Barbara and Willie removed snow from around gate and dug some trenches so snowmelt will drain around entrance instead of turning to mud. We have a lot to do between now and grand opening Memorial Day weekend so anyone who's got some free time to help us out with planting and putting up more fence please give us a call at 783-9081. Oh, and please encourage everyone to pick up their dog's p**p, free bags are provided along with a collection bag at the p**p station. THANKS!
