Rotary Club of Silver City

Rotary Club of Silver City Rotary is an active and fun civic organization which supports projects all over the world and in our local community.

Rotary is an organization of business and professional persons united worldwide to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and build good will and peace in the world. Our club is dedicated to working toward these objectives through four avenues of service: Club Service, Vocational Service, Community Service, and International Service. We are one of seventy

clubs in Rotary District 5520, which covers New Mexico and West Texas and is in turn part of Rotary International. The Club meets every Tuesday at 12:00 noon in the cafeteria in the Thomas B. McDonald Memorial Student Center at Western New Mexico University (except when the University is closed).

Exhibit and Fundraiser to support the Global Polio Eradication Initiative. The exhibit will feature art and architecture by Mark Richard. All proceeds will go to Polio Plus, Rotary's program to eradicate polio world-wide. Polio Plus is part of the Global Polio Eradication Initiative supported by the World Health Organization, UNESCO, and governments throughout the world. Proceeds will be matched on a 2 for 1 basis by the Gates Foundation. Come to the opening reception at the Geisler Studio , 102 W Kelly St, in Silver City, on Saturday, September 27th, 2025.
