Today Silsbee Womens Club brought the Silsbee Public Library pizza and a cookie cake to celebrate National Library Workers Day. We appreciate our library staff, they work hard all year long. If you haven't been to the library in awhile, you need to visit it! Also, this weekend is Spring in the Big Thicket festival. Our Library is the happening place!

I received an incredible award today from GFWC Texas Magnolia District!!! Outstanding Clubwoman Volunteer of the year!! Thank you Silsbee Woman’s Club ladies for the nomination. I’m very humbled for this exciting award bestowed to me. I can’t wait to see what comes next!!!

Today we had our program on environment. The theme was on recycling and re-purposing. We talked about using old stuff instead of buying new stuff. We learned about past recycling projects our club has sponsored and won awards for. Thank you to Ya-Ya's I love junk and Margaret Underhill for speaking on these subjects.

Our Tea Sippin Time in Texas Fashion Show was a Blast! Thank you to all those who attended. And special Thanks to Studio One who provided the fashions. Thanks to all the high school kids that modeled clothes and helped serve and cleanup. And even more Thanks to all those that donated baskets and door prizes.
