Last night the Silsbee Cheer Booster Club awarded $2,175 in scholarships to this year's senior cheerleaders.
These scholarships are designed to recognize the outstanding involvement and commitment to the cheer program made by each of these athletes. Their hard work, dedication and achievements are essential to the success and growth of the program, and represent the values that define high school cheerleading.
Each of our senior cheerleaders received $75 for every year they have been a member of Silsbee high school cheer. In just the past two years, the Booster has awarded a total of nearly $6,000 in scholarship money. And with the continued support from our cheer parents and community, we can continue to bolster this program and grant these honors.
The 2025 Scholarship recipients were:
Reagan Shafer in the amount of $75 for her 1 year of dedication as a high school cheerleader.
Robbie Abshire in the amount of $300 for his 1 year of dedication as a cheer manager and 3 years of dedication as a high school cheerleader.
Rylee Brooks in the amount of $300 for her dedication all 4 years of high school as a cheerleader.
Allison Gremmel in the amount of $300 for her dedication all 4 years of high school as a cheerleader.

Brooke Rogers in the amount of $300 for her dedication all 4 years of high school as a cheerleader.
Kaydence Teal-Hansen in the amount of $300 for her dedication all 4 years of high school as a cheerleader.
We are so proud of each of these young leaders and are confident they will continue to carry forward the same accountability, perseverance and integrity into their future endeavors. Congratulations on your upcoming graduation and good luck in this next chapter of your lives.
