As this heat wave continues, we have made a decision to be open this weekend as the Cooling Station. Again, this is for all persons who are needing to get out of the heat. You do not have to be homeless for this service.

We had a very special visitor today. MacKenzie Thompson, 12 yrs old, had started a personal project over the summer break, and was able to raise over $400 in cash and PayPal donations, along with over $75 worth of food items for our guests here at Genesis House. We are totally amazed on how she has such a giving heart, along with everyone who contributed it to this awesome project. With the forecast of extreme heat through this week, we will be opening the cooling station this Saturday and Sunday (8/8-8/9/26) 12 PM to 6 PM. You do not have to be homeless to come in and cool down.

We are so pleased to partner with Rooted Ginger Farm. They have been blessing our staff, volunteers, and guests with their delicious produce and beautiful flowers.

A huge thank you to everyone who showed up last night for our fundraiser at La Torcia Brick Oven Pizza - Siloam Springs! We were happy to see some familiar faces of supporters and meet some new ones who offered assistance. It was a fun night out and the food was amazing as always! The staff at Brick Oven is amazing. Just watching them work made me tired! They were very gracious to host us for the night and we are thankful for their support.
If you missed the pizza night and are still looking to support us, please reach out! Aside from monetary donations, we can give you a list of other things we accept in the way of donations. Every little thing is appreciated.
