Genesis House

We had the honor of being visited by the leadership team of American Legion Siloam Post 29. Commander Gary Foster, 1st Vice Commander Eric Lawson, and J.W. Smith, not pictured, dropped off their very gracious annual donation to help us serve the homeless in City of Siloam Springs. We want to thank them and all who have served to protect this great country.

We were blessed with a beautiful day for our 30th Anniversary Celebration! Here is a look into the afternoon. We are thankful to the City of Siloam Springs for the use of the pavilion at Twin Springs Park. It’s absolutely beautiful. Thank you to Steve Wilmott for working the grill! The food was top notch! Thank you to Pure Joy Ice Cream for providing ice cream for our dessert. We had some great music provided by DJ, Ty Bottorff. Thanks for bringing the best tunes! We appreciate David Allen for presenting the proclamation on behalf of the mayor. And we are thankful to have Senator Tyler Dees join us for the afternoon and for his support in what we do. Also a huge thank you to Cathy Sherman Schwartz for so much behind the scenes work on this event. This would not have happened without her! To every other board member, employee, volunteer, family member and supporter of Genesis House, THANK YOU! Here’s to the next 30 years!

We will be closed for day services in the morning of Monday in observance of Labor Day, but the Cooling Station will be open Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 12 PM to 6 PM.

08/20/2026

As this heat wave continues, we have made a decision to be open this weekend as the Cooling Station. Again, this is for all persons who are needing to get out of the heat. You do not have to be homeless for this service.
