Earth Mission VISION: We want to see all people in remote Karen areas have access to high quality healthcare.

Among other subjects, our Year 1 PA students are studying English while in Mae Sariang. It's an important part of their medical education, since so many of their educational resources will be in English.

Our mission is to create access to health care in rural Myanmar, but there are so many other needs in our immediate area, too. Our Thai Foundation recently worked with the local Chiang Mai village headmen to prepare and deliver 150 free meal boxes to those who needed food, particularly children and the elderly.

Helping bring new life into the world is one of our greatest joys at the Rain Tree Clinic.

"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." – Psalm 139:13-14

Every day, Myanmar's military attacks civilians; we regularly treat the victims. Yet on Monday, May 12, Myanmar's military announced it and the Indian Armed Forces will be teaching a UN Peacekeeping Officer Course.

According to The Irrawady, the course will include subjects "such as the protection of civilians and children, as well as the operations of United Nations peacekeeping forces."

This while the military bombs, burns, and terrorizes its own citizens. "A total of 5,633 civilians including 740 children have been killed in junta airstrikes on civilian targets in Myanmar since the 2021 coup, according to the Human Rights Ministry of the civilian National Unity Government (NUG)," The Irrawady writes.

The violence goes on. But our work does, too. We keep building clinics, training medical professionals, and healing the sick and injured. And we trust in God's provision.

Our Year 1 PA students have arrived safely in Mae Sariang, where they're spending lots of time in the classroom. The focus of these first few months is intensive English language, basic math, and critical thinking. This early language and theory training sets them up for success as they add on more and more practical application each year of the PA program.

Naw Thue R**t Paw has just entered Year 3 of her Physician Associate studies. It's the stage when students begin applying the clinical knowledge and theories they learned during their second year to real patient care and hands-on practice. It's also one of the most challenging periods of training, as students must learn to balance classroom studies with clinical responsibilities.

Your donations support students like Naw Thue R**t Paw and all of the patients she'll treat in the coming years. To all of you who give: Thank you.

"He waters the mountains from his upper chambers; the land is satisfied by the fruit of His work. He makes grass grow for the cattle, and plants for people to cultivate — bringing forth food from the earth." – Psalm 104:13-14
