"From what I have seen, Phillip was willing to work with the board of directors to accomplish what the city needs and wants. However, this is a two way street and lately this street has had some issues."

The 4 directors who terminated the city admin are leaving the public in the dark by falsely claiming they're not allowed to state reasons.

*The Siloam Springs Community supports the recall*
"Siloam Springs is my very own small-town American greeting card that I get to live in everyday! We moved to Siloam Springs in 2018 and fell in love with the people, community, and scenery. The charm draws you in and makes you never want to leave. We had a business that we loved, raised kids, and I now am a local nurse. Military life has taken us to many places nationally and overseas, but Siloam is where our heart and home will forever be." - Jasmine Allgood

Still so many questions, please read George Benjamin's opinion piece.
Why did the majority fire Phil Patterson?
What direction does the city board want to take Siloam Springs?
If good character, class & competence is not what they are looking for, what are they looking for?

Please read Phil Patterson's letter to the city of Siloam Springs. Here he confirms that he was fired "without cause."
David Allen, Lesa Rissler, Betsy Blair-Finn and Ken Wiles all voted to terminate and will not talk about why they voted that way. Director Hunt confirmed with the Arkansas Municipal League that the board could share what was discussed but they have chosen not to do so yet. We are asking for accountability.

This insightful dialogue clarifies a pressing concern: Sharing the information on the decision to terminate or not terminate Mr. Patterson DOES NOT incur any legal repercussions. Based on the rapid erosion of trust in the leadership of our community, and our need to move forward, we encourage all Siloam Springs citizens to write their board representatives asking them to make the reasoning for this decision public.
