In Troop 922, we believe in the classic Boy Scout program which encourages citizenship, self-reliance, teamwork, and leadership. The core program is based on the idea that the Natural World is the best place to conduct our events because the Great Outdoors is safe, affordable, and fascinating! It’s okay to make mistakes in the Boy Scout enviro

nment because that provides a chance to learn! We believe that timeless “Scout Skills” such as camping, cooking, first aid, and navigation, are actually Life Skills which every (future) adult will benefit from having learned. Troop 922 camps every month except December. If you are looking for a program that will help your son Be Prepared for his future as an capable and upstanding Man and strong active Citizen of his community, please visit us on Tuesday nights at Freedom Family Church in Siler City. Troop 922G is selling Scout discount cards to raise some money and believe you me, a new unit needs money for their program to get up and running.

There’s lots of great deals on this card!! If you’d like to purchase a card from them, they’re available on Tuesday nights at the meeting or we can make other arrangements.

Troop and Pack 922 would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported our Pancake Breakfast on a chilly February morning. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!

Troop 922 will be selling tickets to our annual "all you can eat" pancake breakfast tomorrow from 9:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. at Piggly Wiggly in Siler City. Tickets are $9....Come and get your ticket when you get your bread and milk for the incoming weather!

Please mark your calendars for Saturday, Feb. 7th....We're going to serve you some amazing pancakes and sausage (btw, it's all you can eat) at the annual Troop 922 Pancake Breakfast fundraiser! Drive through or dine in at Freedom Family Church, 421 N. Holly Ave., Siler City. Our Scouts have been busy selling tickets but if they missed you, no problem....we'll hook you up with tickets when you get here!
This fundraiser helps us build our program giving our youth opportunities to explore new areas of learning and do things they might not otherwise get to do.
If you can't make the breakfast but still want to support us, we gladly take donations too. Just message me and we'll get that all worked out!

I finally got around to doing something productive today….added the Troop’s newest Eagle Scout to the trailer door! Parker had his Board of Review back in August. Still waiting on Nat’l to do their thing.

Congratulations Parker! Having completed your District Board of Review you’re recommend to be Troop 922’s newest Eagle Scout!! It was a long journey but you did it. Reaching a goal is powerful and satisfying! Congratulations from all of us and yes, you get your name added to the trailer!

We’ve got the trailer back from getting the logos added. All we need to do now is add some interior shelving and it’s ready to go! Be sure to take a look at it while it’s still light outside!
