Congratulations to Msg. Herve Granjean for his 35 years of dedication to providing a quality eduation for students at St Antoine, our Catholic School in Petite Riviere de Nippes, Haiti. Msg. Granjean has educated and fed thousands of children over his past 35 years and has served on the American Haitian Foundation Board of Directors since it's inception in year 2000. The award was given to Msg Granjean by the National Minister of Education for the Department of the Nippes.

Today we had a funeral Mass for Wood Kenny Vilmene who passed away suddenly last Saturday. Kenny was one of our top middle school students. He recently received an award for his academic abilities. He will be greatly missed by his family and all of the students at St. Antoine our Catholic School in Haiti. Please keep Kenny and his family in your prayers.

In Haiti May 1st. is known as "Agriculture and Labor Day" It is a day that highlights the importance of all forms of work, agriculture, craftmanship, and more. At St. Antoine School we invite all of the local workers to come to our campus to market their fruits, vegetables and wares. It is a great community builder and everyone enjoys the celebration. Many of our students and dress in bright colors to celebrate the day.

Last week we had a soccer tournament at our Catholic School in Haiti. These are some good pictures of the referees and the 2 playoff teams who played for the championship . Congratulations to the Black and Gold won it and to our staff for making it happen.
