The Signal Mountain Youth Softball Board will be hosting an after-season board meeting on Monday, June 6th starting at 6:00 pm at the Town Hall Guild Room (1111 Ridgeway Ave, Signal Mountain, TN 37377 - next to the Town Hall Gym). The meeting will be called to order promptly at 6:00 pm with an open forum for anyone to voice opinions and concerns until 7:00 pm.

Chattanooga RBI Summer Option - Every year Warner Park in downtown Chattanooga holds a Chattanooga RBI league for anyone interested in continuing to play softball. This is unaffiliated with Signal Mountain, but many of our spring coaches and players have formed combined team(s) and registered them for summer play. There are no team fees associated for this summer due to a grant from MLB. Games are played on weeknights downtown at the Warner Park Fields right next to the Chattanooga Zoo. The 8U Signal Mountain Eagles battled and fought their way through a 14 hour 8 game tournament on Saturday. After finding themselves in the losers bracket after the first bracket game of the day, the Eagles battled through and won 6 straight games in a 7-hour span to come home tournament champions.

These girls showed true grit and determination as they made Signal Mountain proud!

Bohman's 10u team made the program proud in the Harrison Mother's Day Tournament this weekend. We played in some very competitive games yesterday until late last night and came back today for more. The parents were very happy and the girls did very well. We won our first game of the season as the midnight hour approached last night and we lost a heartbreaker this afternoon. Parents were on their feet cheering and chanting from the stands. All of the girls went home with rings. I am going to keep working with these girls as we keep improving and trying to be ready for the next level. The growth and resilience these girls showed this weekend was phenomenal.
