Signal Mountain Soccer League is a volunteer run non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of youth soccer. Our philosophy is to provide an atmosphere of good sportsmanship within which the players and teams can learn, compete & enjoy the game of soccer. The SMSL recognizes that participation in youth sports, when practiced and played within a healthy and nurturing environment, can teac

We are still on cloud 9 after our first ever club soccer tournament at SMSL! The Signal Mountain Storm Classic was a huge success & the largest tournament of the 2026-27 season to date in the Greater Chattanooga area 👏! We couldn’t have done it without all your support. We completed a successful weekend full of competitive games for 65 club teams on our home fields ❤️! Special THANK YOUs to:

Congratulations to our U9 Storm boys Red team for earning 2nd place FINALIST medals in The Storm Classic soccer tournament this weekend 🥈❤️⚽️! “We had a great weekend with some amazing competition. The boys went into the championship and played their hearts out. It was back and forth for the majority of the game with regular time ending in a tie and sending us into overtime. In the first 5 minute overtime Diego Motta scored a PK golden goal crowning the boys champs of the inaugural Signal Storm tournament. It was an amazing team effort. Congrats boys!!”- Coach Spike

Congrats to our Storm U10 girls Red team for ending their tournament weekend as 2nd place FINALISTS 🥈 ❤️⚽️! Despite the heat and the final outcome, the U-10 girls played awesome. The coaches are proud of the entire team, from players who played in between the posts, to the strikers up top. Great job.

Congratulations to our Storm U13 boys red team, 1st place champions of the Storm Classic soccer tournament 🥇❤️⚽️! The boys battled through every match, finished the weekend undefeated, and earned a State League victory along the way!

⚽ Game 1/State League Match: Storm defeated Blount United Rush, 3–1
⚽ Game 2: Storm won, 4–1
🏆 Championship Game: Storm defeated GA Impact, 2–0

Coach Patrick Winecoff praised the team’s determination, sharing, “I’m proud of the effort the boys put forth in each match. They worked very hard for each win and deserve the medals!”

Jax shared, “Throughout the tournament this weekend, I saw major improvements from everyone on the team. We fought hard, played with confidence, and finished our chances. Let’s go win another tournament!”

Our community is incredibly proud of these players and grateful to Coach Patrick Winecoff for his leadership, encouragement, and commitment throughout the weekend.

Congratulations to our Storm U10 boys Red team, finishing as 1st place CHAMPIONS of The Storm Classic 🥇👏⚽️! These boys wrapped up day 1 with two decisive wins earning a direct advance to the championship finals. The final match posed the biggest competitive challenge and the boys overcame a major setback during second half to come away champions!
