What a night! ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, purchased tickets, donated, and supported the Signal Hill Community Foundation. Your generosity and your presence made the evening a success and, most importantly, help us continue investing in our Signal Hill community.

Special thanks to JAC Productions, Juanita Curtice and Neena Strichart for producing the event, and to all of our incredible table sponsors and community partners whose support helped make the evening possible.

We’re grateful for every person who showed up for our Foundation and our community. Thank you, Signal Hill! ❤️

On September 11, 2002, Signal Hill gathered before the newly completed 9/11 Unity Monument, created by artist Patrick Vogel, to remember the lives lost one year earlier.

Yesterday—25 years after the attacks of September 11, 2001—we gathered there once again. We reflected not only on the lives lost, but also on the courage, compassion and unity that brought Americans together in the days that followed.

That spirit continues to guide our community and the mission of the Signal Hill Community Foundation: supporting charitable, cultural, recreational and educational programs that bring people together and benefit Signal Hill.

Thank you to our city staff for organizing this meaningful remembrance, to each of our speakers for their thoughtful words, and to everyone who attended. Your presence affirmed that Signal Hill remembers—and that we remain committed to working together for the common good.

This morning at 9:00 a.m., the Signal Hill community gathered at the Unity Monument by artist Patrick Vogel to commemorate 25 years since the September 11 attacks.

Together with local elected officials, we remembered the lives lost and honored the courage and sacrifice of our nation’s first responders. Thank you to the members of the Signal Hill Police Department and Los Angeles County Fire Department who joined us in remembrance.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸
