Spring is here!!
If you are local in the Sarasota area it’s swarm time!! These guys appeared in our garden yesterday and now have a brand new forever home! If you are local and have a hive that is established (living in a tree, wall, electric box) or just notice a cluster of these little ones out and about don’t hesitate in giving me a message!! I’m new to this but I have an awesome mentor, so I’m sure we can help if someone needs it! Bryony Hulett King Christine Hulett David King

Meet Queen Ashley!! As some of you know we are just starting out in the Bee Keeping hobby and are complete newbies! Unfortunately, we lost a few of our hives due to common parasites and other bugs. Luckily we have found a local beekeeper, Ashley Williams, who has taken us under her wing!! She rescues swarms of bees all over Sarasota and then rehomes them!! We are so grateful and lucky to have her teaching and looking out for us!!

In her honor, our first new Queen is Queen Ashley!!
