**THAT'S A WRAP** The Rotary District 5500 Conference brought Rotarians together in Tubac to learn, connect and share stories from clubs and communities across the district.

The conference included keynote presentations, breakout sessions and opportunities for Rotarians to share experiences and ideas.

Thank you to the speakers, keynote presenters, and conference committee for their contributions to the two-day conference.

Sharing our stories helps us learn from one another and continue to Create Lasting Impact.

💙💛 Great fellowship, great conversation and a great reminder of what makes Rotary special!

We enjoyed a fantastic presentation from Angela Lopez, Supervisor of Membership Growth and Experience, on “Building Rotary’s Future, One Act at a Time.”

We then put the ideas into action, engaging in table conversations around a variety of prompts and sharing stories, experiences and ideas with fellow Rotarians. The conversations were thoughtful, fun and full of inspiration!

Sometimes building Rotary’s future starts with simply sharing a story and connecting with the person sitting next to you. ❤️

🚴‍♀️ Ride to End Polio: Rotary Club of Sierra Vista Makes an Impact!

Sierra Vista Rotary is proud to support Rotary’s fight to End Polio Now!

At the Rotary District 5500 Conference, Sierra Vista was recognized for raising nearly $5,700 for polio eradication!

And we’re not just giving—we’re riding! At least 10 Sierra Vista Rotary members and friends of Rotary participate in the Michael J. Harris Memorial Ride to End Polio during El Tour de Tucson.

Every gift is tripled through the Gates Foundation match, helping move us closer to a polio-free world.

Together, we ride. Together, we give. Together, we End Polio Now! 🌎💙

Day One of the Rotary District 5500 Conference in Tubac was filled with connection, inspiration and stories of service! ❤️💙

Rotarians from across the district came together around this year’s theme:

“How has Rotary impacted you? Share your story.”

From meaningful conversations to new connections, the day was a reminder that every Rotarian has a story—and every story represents an opportunity to Create Lasting Impact.

What’s your Rotary story? 💙

❤️ Rotary in action!

Our Rotarians came together at The Salvation Army to donate, prepare, cook and serve lunch to 120 neighbors in need. From the kitchen to the serving line, it was a true team effort!

This is what Rotary’s “Service Above Self” looks like in action—and it’s exactly how we Create Lasting Impact. 💙

Thank you to everyone who gave their time, talents and heart to make the day a success!

It was a wonderful evening at Bone Dry Tavern in Sierra Vista as we celebrated the 2026–2027 officers and new members of the Sierra Vista Rotary Satellite Club! ❤️

👏 Congratulations all around! We’re excited to see all the great things you’ll accomplish together this year.

Two clubs. One Rotary family. Together, we’re creating lasting impact in our community! 👍

Service Above Self takes many forms, and for several members of the Rotary Club of Sierra Vista, it has continued long after their military careers.

Mayor Clea McCaa was recently presented with a Certificate of Special Recognition as a Veteran Servant Leader by Congressman Juan Ciscomani. After 30 years of service in the U.S. Army, Mayor McCaa has continued his commitment to service through community leadership and his work on behalf of the citizens of Sierra Vista.

Fellow Rotarians of the Rotary Club of Sierra Vista, Eva McElroy and John Black, have also received this special recognition in previous years, making the honor especially meaningful for the Club.

We congratulate Mayor McCaa and proudly recognize Eva, John, and all veterans who continue to strengthen their communities through leadership and service. Their example truly reflects Rotary’s commitment to Service Above Self.
